The first dinner out for our epic bachelorette weekend in Nashville was at a really fantastic sushi restaurant, Virago. I was really surprised by the ambiance – definitely good for groups and people looking to start the night with a fun and delicious dinner. The upstairs section of the restaurant, where we sat, had an amazing view. And I’m a sucker for a good view.
Sushi restaurants are always a safe bet for me, most any place can whip up an avocado roll for you. But this place had a really inventive vegetarian roll already on the menu. We started with edamame and of course champagne to celebrate.
I went with the vegetarian roll – the Buddha Belly. It’s made with puffed tofu, shiitake, spicy bean sprouts, tatsoi, avocado, and smoked soy. It was not only delicious but so pretty! And of course I went with an avocado roll for good measure.
The waiter was awesome as well, he was so on top of everything, joked around with us and kept the wine flowing. (what more could we ask for?) This was a great spot – especially for a bunch of girls starting out for the night. If you’re in Nashville, this would be a great place to check out. And for you non-vegans, everyone else was raving about the other rolls too.
